Introducing ProPG’s Medicine Shortage Radar – A New Planning Tool for Australian Hospitals

Pro Pharmaceuticals Group has introduced a new internal capability designed to support hospitals with forward-looking visibility on potential medicine supply pressures.

The initiative draws on multiple indicators and trend patterns to highlight medicines that may require closer attention. It is not a public tool, nor does it replace any formal shortage notifications. Its purpose is simple:to help hospitals plan ahead, stabilise stock levels, and minimise the impact of unexpected disruptions.

Early feedback from several hospital partners has been positive, particularly for critical-care injectables and high-acuity therapeutics where even short delays can affect clinical workflow.

As a hospital-focused Australian company, ProPG remains committed to supporting continuity of care and ensuring that services have access to timely, pragmatic information.
